They are always used by politicians and public servants to intimidate, attack and silence their political opponents. They are used in pursuit of personal vendettas. My friends who swallow all the BS from government know that the Bill isn't going to mean that somehow I and those likeminded will miraculously start swallowing it because information contrary to it is banned. Everyone knows that it isn't going to influence people's thinking. The 90% will continue to swallow, the 10% won't.
