I don’t think it’s fair to call the bridge protestors Hamas supporters. I would imagine that most of them primarily object to the Israeli government’s conduct as opposed to approving of Hamas (although I acknowledge that some people sympathise with Hamas). Which is relevant to Australians because we are supplying Israel with military items.

I've been to them. The simple test to show whether what I've said is true or not is simply take a sign that says "Hamas surrender, end the war" and see what happens. They don't like that message at all, because they're not interested in ending the war, they're interested in Israel stopping their side of the war, and Hamas being left in place. I would imagine that most of them primarily object to the Israeli government’s conduct as opposed to approving of Hamas (although I acknowledge that some people sympathise with Hamas). I've been to them. The simple test to show whether what I've said is true or not is simply take a sign that says "Hamas surrender, end the war" and see what happens. A very interesting piece. While you are usually right, I hope this doesn't end the Marches for Australia. Like the Covid protesters, most that went are ordinary people who are objecting to something that deeply affects them. The accounts I have read from those there were mostly positive so I hope the movement gains ground. There is certainly a well orchestrated and funded push back on them. I've been amazed to see the speed and quantity of articles and posts misrepresenting the march objectives and the mindset of the participants. I suspect various influencers were paid to post smears. I thought perhaps the nazi smear had seen its day given the level of jew hatred and support for islamo nazis on the left, but they still seem to think it will work.
